I'm not gonna lie. This fight was kind of a pain in the butt until I figured out a comp to beat it. So far in Warlords of Draenor, this is definitely one of the more frustrating battles I've had... lots of pet bandages for this one.
The team you'll face includes:
- Deebs is a Mini Diablo (magic) from the World of Warcraft Collector's Edition
- Tyri is a Mini Tyrael (humanoid) from the "World Wide Invitational" of 2008
- Puzzle is a Treasure Goblin (humanoid) from the Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls Collector's Edition.
I use a Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, a Ghostly Skull, and the Restless Shadeling.
Use the Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling against Deebs and cast Decoy first to avoid incoming damage and then spam Breath to kill him. You might want to toss out one Thunderbolt, because it damages your opponent's the entire team.
When Tyri comes out, use whatever life your Dragonling has left to eat into Tyri a little bit, and then bring out your Ghostly Skull. Cast Siphon Life and then Ghostly Bite. Yes, it will stun you, but it'll hit for a lot. Then cast Death Coil until Tyri dies.
Your Ghostly Skull should be alive when Puzzle comes out. Get Siphon Life up immediately and then use Ghostly Bite to decimate Puzzle's HP. Then, cast Death Coil until Puzzle dies or your Ghostly Skull takes a dirt nap.
You can probably get in another Ghostly Bite before your Skull dies, and you might not even have to use the Restless Shadeling. I'm pretty sure you can 2-pet this battle with a Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling and a Ghostly Skull and level-up a third pet.
Doesn't stop the fight from being really frustrating though before you find a comp! This team is definitely not a pushover team.
Here's a video of the fight. I recorded one where everything went right. I got in two Decoys with my Dragonling and the Ghostly Bite I used with my Skull actually hit. Sometimes things don't go this well (Ghostly Bite doesn't always hit). However, when things go well on this fight, they REALLY go well.
Managed to take them down with Son of Sethe, Emerald Proto-Whelp & Anubisath Idol, though the Idol was not needed at all.

ReplyDeleteWowhead has a great guide where Squirt's pets can be beaten with just 2 pets and you can carry a third to get XP. Squirt also is the only garrison daily pet battle that gives full XP over and over, so it's a great way to level other pets.
