Beat Gargra Warlords of Draenor Grand Master Pet Tamer

If you're playing Horde for Warlords of Draenor (and why wouldn't you be?), one of the first Pet Tamers you'll encounter will be Gargra. Her pets are three wolf pups named Wolfus, Fangra, and Wolfgar. They're cute and fuzzy, but beware: they can hit like trucks!

So exciting to see new tamers as part of the Warlords of Draenor expansion. We've been fighting Mists of Pandaria tamers for so long that getting to meet a new opponent is certainly a fun way to break up the mad craze of leveling up.

Gargra is located in southeastern Frostfire Ridge, right next to an area of the map called "Grom'Gar." It's easy to get to if you're in your garrison. Just ride eastward through the trench and around the battlefield at Grom'Gar and you'll find Gargra sitting between some large rocks.

Like all Grand Master Pet Tamers, you'll get a daily quest from Gargra. Your reward (if you're still leveling) will include some XP and gold, as well as currency called "Pet Charms." You can use these charms to buy things in your Garrison.

At the time of this writing, my Garrison was just upgraded to level two, but so far there's only about a page and a half of stuff you can buy. Nothing too amazing (mostly costumes for your pets). Hopefully the pet charm vendor gets more cool stuff as you upgrade your Garrison or as the expansion rolls onward.

Each of Gargra's pets is a beast and is blue quality, so the fight isn't terribly difficult, particularly if you bring some Mechanical pets to whollop those little cubs. My lineup for the fight included a Mechanical Yeti, a Clockwork Gnome, and a Blue Clockwork Rocket Bot.

Generally, you'll want to use the following attacks (if you choose to use the pets I used):

Call Lightning > Metal Fist (x2) > Ion Cannon > Build Turret > Metal Fist (4evr).

Gargra's pets should go down pretty quickly, but watch out, they can hit for around 1,700 with buffs, so if you get a giant chunk taken out of one of your pets, don't be surprised. Just be thankful Mechanical pets come back to life!

I'm absolutely certain you can 2-pet this tamer and level up a third pet (I didn't this first time around since I was in a mad fury to level and only stopped for a brief fight whilst questing). If I had to guess, using a pet with Call Lightning plus another pet that uses Mechanical attacks will be the best way to compose a team to level-up a third pet.

I've got an Alliance warlock I'll be leveling soon, so soon I'll have more guides for additional tamers you'll see if you're leveling as alliance. I just need to beat the log-in boss first.....

Here's a video of a Mechanical Yeti ripping through Gargra's entire team:
